I'd like to ask all of you here about playing Play Station (PSOne) game in PS3.
A friend told me that some of the PS game is able to play on PS3 - and the games can be purchased and downloaded in Play Station Network.

Have any of you came across the game Metal gear Solid (Part 1) in the PSN?

Runs like a champ if you buy it from any other PSN store. PS1 games uses an emulator means the graphics aren't up scaled to HD. I don't have MGS1 but I do have the PS1 final fantasy series,

mmg ler its not HD, PSOne releases were never meant HD in the first place. i have MGS, RE1,2,3, Dino Crisis, Metal SlugFF7 to 9, all of them not HD

Right now most games are being rereleased from the ps2 era into the ps3. THOSE are remastered into hd. liek the god of war colelctions featuring god of war 1 and 2 on the ps2. and also the upcoming ico and shadow of the colossus games.

yes i bought the game using psn card. i can play on my ps3 or transfer it to my psp to play it on the go.

Of course u can get it from PSN, Metal gear Solid is available on PSN.
