This is my longest 1vs1 session yet at a very torturing 1 hour 11 minutes, I actually gelt real fatigue duking it out but in the end it was worth it! XD RATATTATTTTATA BANGBANGBANG. With so many replays showing games going for about 10-20 minutes I wonder how many of you get faced with long drawn out epic-size battles? So far I've had two matches dragging out for about this long, the other one 3 minutes shy of an hour. This post has been edited by slickz: Nov 13 2010, 01:51 AM

His value was way way over mine because he spammed vikings, all just sitting in his base. I maintained a chokehold over his base by holding my position just outside his base with crapload of marines, thors and turrets. Neither one of us dared to commit to full scale confrontation (he had to quietly expand to fuel his viking army) until one point he let loose his viking batallion onto my waiting force outside. Our armies neutralized each other, but he won that battle with just a few units. Came to attack my base but I somehow repelled his weakened attack with just some minor losses. At this one hour point I think he got tired already, lol! Then I started to push into his base since he ran out of money. Some highlights : » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Just epic. So, moral of the story is, higher value army != victory This post has been edited by slickz: Nov 13 2010, 09:12 AM

Well I upgraded my pc about two weeks ago. That's sc2 on ultra detail. Running on asus gts450 , i5 760 and 2GB DDR3 kingston. None of them are really high end stuff but you know how well blizzard code their games. No perceivable lag (I don't really monitor the framerate). Added on November 13, 2010, 3:35 pmIt was no easy fight, but yeah fights like this are what can happen when noob fight with noob. LOL! This post has been edited by slickz: Nov 13 2010, 03:35 PM

QUOTE(Mansamune @ Nov 18 2010, 04:45 AM) Believe it or not, the longest game i've ever had lasted for about 8 hours. Was a TvT and we reached a stalemate. Had about 8 marines, he had 3 banshees. I decided to lift off and go to sleep, hoping he would just leave. Little did i know, the bugger was just as kiasu and did the same. Woke up in the morning to find that i lost the game due to a disconnect LOL! You're living proof that longest battle does NOT always mean hard battle. So it was banshees VS medivacs loaded with marines eh ?

So far none of my 1vs1 matches last longer than this, but the biggest battles now come from the 3vs3 matches that I've had the good luck of enjoying with 2 other friends VS the computer. I don't know if it's from my friend's pc lagging causing the rest of us to lag too (to sync) or if it really is from my pc, but we got beaten repeatedly on 3 AI on all hard. (first 6 player map in list). The funniest part was seeing my medivacs healing my friend's ultralisks. Zerg and Terran living in harmony! This post has been edited by slickz: Nov 18 2010, 02:48 PM
