quite obvious who has the biggest impact. Chamakh for Arsenal is still normal. Just someone to replace Van Persie for the time being? I think they should have just used any of their subs cause they're good.

the list will be too long and the comparison will be too vast and sometimes might get off the line since every league differs. Fro example: Suarez's stats is much more power than Messi doesn't mean he is gonna achieve same feat in Liga BBVA. Nevertheless, one can discuss and compare it too. I just didn't feel like listing everyone in the poll so I put an option of 'others' in it.

Chamakh. Imagine if Chamakh didn't join Arsenal, and Robin van Persie, Bendtner, Walcott are (and they were) injured...

chamakh of course.
got him for free.
and he's been scoring a lot of crucial goals.
a few assists here and there.
and the number of penalties he won for arsenal.

VDV win hands down, the rest not even close

few names i feel should not included in the list

benayoun - injured most of the time, and still injured
jovanovic - couldnt adapt to EPL?

If the best transfer is not judge solely by the number of goals scored or assists
Then surely Cheick Tiote from Newcastle at £3.5m is a much better purchase than £8m VDV (Yes i'm being bias here)
Look at where Newcastle is at the moment compared with Spurs rolleyes.gif

that's great and all but the only way you can do that if you watched all or most the BPL matches. if not, people will just go on for the player in their team (since they watch all their team match) or just go via the goals/assists stats

i voted for Marouane anyway biggrin.gif

i was torn apart between chamakh and vdv.these two has brought much impact to their team.without chamakh, arsenal will be headless like last season when we lost both rvp and bendtner.without vdv, tottenham will have even more struggle to cope with CL and EPL.

to be honest, the Man City newcomers didn't really provide a huge impact to the squad. it's always Captain Tevez stealing the show instead of them.

Yaya Toure seems a good buy. I like him more than Barry, and he's tough as a rock.

Problem for City is that they need a creative midfielder, not more defensive midfielders doh.gif

Do not really agree, in terms of contribution, both players gave their very own type of it. Both had the same amount of goal scored (though VDV goal per game ration is higher). But of course you can't judge only on goal score... VDV control the midfield quite well as he is able to march forward the team to opponent's half and orchestrate the attack at times, gave assist and also score some box to box and middle range goal.

Chamakh had his very own aerial accuracy type of damage which will fear opponents in set pieces such as middle range free kick and corner kick, this in turns contributed when opponents have to give exclusive attention to him and loosing some attention to the former's team mate. Also, Not to mention that he won numbers of penalty more than any other strikers in the penalty won per game ration although this is still debatable.

in terms of price....Res Ipsa Loquitur. icon_rolleyes.gif

real never wanted to sell makelele but this guy want more money ... thats why he went to chelsea ...

for robben and snjeider, both of the position now occupy by ronaldo and ozil ... which play so well now

huntelaar and metzelder simply not good enough for real ...

It is true that Gareth Bale contribute alot of Tottenham. But this is not one man's team, without a finisher, even how good Gareth Bale is, Tottenham is still unable to score.

If you see Tottenham match everytime you will find out that Van der Vaat is keep roaming and dominate the centre field and gareth bale keep attacking from the left. Each has his own responsibilities to deal with. Especially right now you can see that Tottenham striker is not at a good mood at the moment. Van der Vaat is trully a great player, there is no doubt about it. You wont expect midfielder can keep scoring other than Malouda or Nolan. If you think that van der vaat is not worth it as good bargain transfer in EPL. Who will it be? Somemore he's just join in at 8mil transfer fee which is no one would expect that cheap from him smile.gif
