demit i just realised that the more cantik i make my car the more paranoid i become of it being stolen.

currently i've got a T-rex steering wheel lock and am planning to get a Locktact/tech brake pedal lock as well.

probably a tilt sensor too (after what happened to my tayar)

anyone know of a good proximity or tilt sensor? something that make the car jerit if someone touches or lifts it?

My car 1.6 Gen2 AT, 110,000 km now develop engine rattling noise (like bearing noise) during idle when shifting from N to D or R . The sound like a diesel engine and becomes softer after engine warm up . When shift back to N or accelerating to move , sound dissapear. Sound like problem with gbox .. can any one offer advise?

when did u changed the gearbox ATF fluid? if not change yet, try flush the gearbox fluid and hear if the sound still got or not.. my pomen said, our gearbox really hard to kaput.. unless u drive forward then suddenly reverse frequently, ha then will got problem..

mine AT oso, mileage 145,xxx km.. problem with driveshaft (driverside) and lower arm for now.. later dont know yet..

FYI, ATF fluid need to change every 20k(KM)

ATF u must buy 5 litre maaaa...4 litre not enough...actually GEN2 AT we are using 4 1/2 liter so u can use the other half to FLUSH the old oil (cheap way)...

If i'm not mistaken. last time i buy at spare part shop cost around RM18 per bottle (1 litre) GENUINE PROTON.. labour charge tak ingat la plak...
