Bro wandzul...mine gen2 is the 1st batch of GEN2..i use it almost 7 years now..minimum twice a year i go to kelantan..the longest i drove is 12hours from kelantan to bangi n it's bcoz of traffic jammed..for sure i notice my FC.. flex.gif
*
7 years? u mean ur gen2 is 2003? shocking.gif

however, what i mean is if u reset ur fc meter during traffic jam (stop on go condition, not the slow moving condition), the meter will skyrocket during the jam bcause it is calculated based on average of distance vs fuel amount. i did that countless of time already.. if long journey for sure fc will drop back.. doh.gif

btw, mine also uses 2004 ecu, also an AT car. and twice per 3 months i drive from alor setar - sg petani - tapah - puchong - tapah.. my record for longest driving is 15 hours (10am - 1am), which usually happens on Sunday. after that 3 days sakit2 badan.. and dont ask me how much is my mileage laugh.gif

SARD also ok one, just that last time the meter oil leaked out.. (cheap meter)
i should have just replace the meter only but at that time got extra $$ and to get wideband tuning i need to purchase their fpr so apa lagi liao brows.gif
now the SARD fpr is resting inside a box, with new jasma meter plus the dummy adaptor for campro.. anyone want just let me know ya.. tongue.gif

different case with me, workshop said need 5 bottles so i said ok, when 4th bottle of refilling, they say enough already.. save me one bottle.. happened twice already..

QUOTE(marsox @ Jan 4 2011, 11:31 PM)
ook tq bro 4da info..
i thought the timing n aircond belt got different mileage to change.

bro, oil cap seal is the rubber beneath the oil cap ke??
how to detect the elaking??

the roker cover gasket, if change need to open the head ka??
*
actually u can change aircond belt after it starts to squeak.. some ppl just change along with timing belt so no need to pay extra labour charge.. sekali jalan..

leaking of oil cap can be detected by observing oil deposit around the cap itself..

to change rocker cover gasket, no need to open head because the rubber seats on top of the head.. just open rocker cover

UPDATE: new mod - Projector Foglamp - ok tak guys laugh.gif

nice mod bro..is this projector come with CCFL ring??
how much for the cost bro??need to change the tapak foglamp skali??
*
i purchased the non-ccfl version bro bcos i dont like ccfl.. the inverters tend to kaput after few months of usage..
tapak foglamp need to custom one.. nak pakai ori punya pun boleh tp alignment lari.. hehe

yup..kena alert sket dgn bunyi2an yg pelik2 dtg dr engine ni...
ooo da inverter easily to kaput ke??
b4 this, berangan also to install projector foglamp for next project too, but then some member said, projector can not potong kabus or hujan when driving compare to oem foglamp..any comment bro??

n anybody have change their cable plug??
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

nology brand, is it performance type??can feel the difference ke??
*
yes most china, even some taiwan made inverters can easily kaput.. got fren using ccfl projector headlamp changes the inverters almost in every 6 months or so.. then sometimes, when driving at night i can see his ccfl buta sebelah already.. not cool at all.. tongue.gif

about the projector cannot potong kabus/hujan thing, do u wonder why luxury cars like merc & bmw use projectors in their cars? the thing that decide whether can potong or not are ur bulbs temperature.. if using 4300K and below bulbs, then should have no problem..
basically like this la, the more yellow the light beam is, the more better it can cut through rain/fog.. sweat.gif
and for mutual support purpose, i use osram silverstar bulbs in my headlamp.. superbright & greater distance but yet the beam is not glaring.. thumbup.gif

i changed my plug cable to few types already.. pro rallye, quadcore, lagi apa brand claim made in usa (tricore cable with individual grounding-similar to nology, pro rallye & jasma), all give stronger spark but now im using back my oem cables, bcos i can feel that my FC is higher and engine sounds rougher when using those aftermarket cables.. as per performance, u'll feel that the rev meter climbs easier..
QUOTE(edi78 @ Jan 6 2011, 04:36 PM)
dudes..my old problem come back lor...engine light appear when i want to rev..shit laaa....temp ok (below 90),engine oil check ok,Auto oil ok...really headache la like this...

what to do???ahlong, kasi tolong... icon_question.gif ..u're oso using auto..
*
use PDT to scan ur ecu fault codes..
80% chances that its O2 sensor (lambda sensor) problem as happened to my fren's neo.. (same symptom)

QUOTE(marsox @ Jan 6 2011, 10:48 PM)
haha..yup..see some cases like that before...jd cacat plak..
bro, waja n neo also use...haha...but the pioneer for sure merc n bmw...
so basically,4300k da yellow light beam more convenient, jpj tarak kaco, can potong through rain/fog n the glare didnt disturb other driver..
but for this projector foglamp, we can choose whether want to put HID set or using normal bulb like H3/H4 rite bro??
huiyoo...many part of the toyol u have try bro..keter kuat ni.. notworthy.gif
if rev meter climb easily = pickup increase also bro??u r using performance cable plug + performance spark plug also??or just oem..hehe

btw, nice info n comment u have there bro..tq for sharing  thumbup.gif

Added on January 6, 2011, 10:52 pm
haha..xbleh tahan jiwa muda la bro, jiwa kelajuan...pe brg layan stendet time mude2 cmni...
*
ya bro, can choose whether to use normal halogen or hid, because the projector has beam cut off so wont glare others.. thumbup.gif
4300k hid jpj also kaco if u kantoi, but usually they cannot differentiate from far, unless if they stop u and then ask u to switch off and then switch back on, or even ask u to open car bonnet in order to search for hid ballast..

and yes, rev meter climb easier = pickup increase.. but ur leg will be automatically become 'heavier' since sedap mau merempit.. last time, i used those cables paired with Denso Iridium spark plugs.. i already sold off those sets, so now just using oem cables paired with NGK iridium plugs (just for longer lifetime purpose only - no more rempit) tongue.gif
just targeting lower FC for now.. sweat.gif

p/s: between both iridium plugs, i think Denso is a bit better than NGK.. the code is IT20 if im not mistaken.. some bro said Bosch Super 4 atau Bosch platinum ntah pun ok gak..

I was thinking to PDT at the PSC that day but when the MECH said that the charge amount is RM70 per once,i sweat a lot ar...i told the mech that maybe the O2 sensor problem but he said dunno n need to PDT to confirm the problem..If the O2 sensor is the problem, how to repair?buy new one??if buy new one sure very expensive lor... cry.gif
*
try to go somewhere else for PDT, standard charge for PDT now is around RM50.. of course its quite a lot, but worth it to detect problem and sambil2 adjust throttle offset for better response.. brows.gif
QUOTE(edi78 @ Jan 7 2011, 08:04 AM)
Other cases i found out that maybe the THERMOSTAT failure..i dunno lah this correct or wrong but if the thermostat failure u're TEMP sure will go high..right? rclxub.gif
*
there can be few factors of overheating:
-head bengkok
-head gasket burnt
-radiator leaking
-water pump kaput
-water level too low
-thermostat x main
-kipas kaput
-relay kipas kaput

but ur last post said temp ok right?

be careful when changing the fuel filter, dont just go to any mere pomen bcos some of them will damage the tubing connector.. then u'll have headache later on.. rclxub.gif
make sure ur pomen know how to disconnect the tubing properly..
