Yes, I read the announcement yesterday during the suspension. But I don't see anything wrong, the management claims this is to grow even bigger in future. Mind to expand your Point of view.

Alex Lu commented on QSR

===

The news is out for QSR and KFC. Idaman Saga SB has offered to buy out the business & undertaking of QSR at about RM5.60 per share. QSR's board has yet to decide on the offer.

Many things can happen but the indicative offer seems to suggest that the upside for the stock is quite limited. Like KFC, QSR share price has run up too much. Will Idaman Saga sweeten the offer? I guess it has to since the current market price is so close to the offer price. Strangely, it is the market price that is dropping now as investors decide to take profit rather than wait for a sweetening of the offer. After all, there is no guarantee that Kulim, the parent of QSR would accept the offer.

Chartwise, QSR's uptrend line support is at RM5.30. The technical outlook for the stock would turn bearish if the share price dropped below RM5.30.

What matters now is how Salcon would utilise the cash after the S&P. From how they claim if would be much possible for more expansion, in this case.....could it be someone pressing down the price to accumulate more stock ?

The 5.3% should have been factored in already. General consensus was that the market was suppose to slow down anyway so I don't think that's the reason KLCI would jump off a cliff just cuz GDP was in line with market expectations.

Fall happened after 9.30, HSI down 300 points due to stricter property rules and tighter Mainland policy.

ish ish time to accummulate a bit more before going on holiday. tongue.gif

Hi,

CIMB declared a special 13.45 sen DPS (ex-date: 3 Dec 10; payment before Dec 31, 2010).

If buy today, will I be entitled for the above dividend or not?
