QUOTE(cherroy @ Nov 22 2010, 05:00 PM)
Asset/liabilities -
A company is doing xyz business.
xyz business being sold off entirely, all asset & liabilities gone together to the buyer.
A company has no business become "shelf" company.
Minority still owning A company share. Nothing change, until A company decided to refund/repay the capital to shareholders across.

Privatisation
Buyer buy the A company shares, and own the A company. Minority shareholders get the cash for selling the shares.
*
Does privatization necessarily de-listed the company from bursa? notworthy.gif

i give up fighting with epf for mbm . my pockets just not deep enough.
*
I thought as long as we can get 6% for the year, is good enough. I don't have much high hope in our government still. If Malaysia IS Penang, I may expect 8-9%. biggrin.gif

Well MBM, i can wait, it's fundamentally good and current price is damn cheap, so I guess its time will come.
Speaking of fighting with EPF, the same applies to Mahsing and Axiata lately. They all are having heavy "transferring" activities between our few giants (Khazanah, Amanahraya, EPF, PNB, Yayasan etc.)
Just wait to see what's their final show. tongue.gif

The 5.3% should have been factored in already. General consensus was that the market was suppose to slow down anyway.

Fall happened after 9.30, and HSI down 300 points due to stricter property rules and tighter Mainland policy.

ish ish time to accummulate a bit more before going on holiday. tongue.gif
