Here is something to think about.
MSI having a direct online sales in here forum, something like Dell's model whilst retaining the distro & retailers, possible? |

QUOTE(mcchin @ Apr 8 2011, 09:48 AM) 1. They would sell cheaper than local reseller, but then no reseller would take their product to sell, since this is undercutting their profit. This would cut off more reaches in remote places (like how Apple store is only at Big cities) 2. They would sell higher than the market price, as to placate the reseller, but then again What is the point? 3. They would sell at the same price, but then again, how are they gonna govern the pricing, as even between reseller are some difference to the pricing I did mention Dell cos Dell do have & support the 'brick & mortar' resellers. This idea hit me cos one of the 'teh tarik' member is the point person for Dell's resellers in Malaysia. And they do have different elements & structure for both types of sales to ensure both resellers and online purchase are satisfied. And not to mention their business customers too. And yes not everyone will buy online but in here forum have many PC 'enthusiast' who are very comfortable with online purchase. Sorry MSI-MY & fellow forummers for the OT. |

QUOTE(Sanko @ Apr 27 2011, 05:14 PM) Unmatched Performance Gains up to 457%! MSI Unveils Z68 Mainboard Family with Impressive Power. OC Genie II unleashes total system potential, backed by Military Class II components with top quality and stability I may want to buy Z68A-GD65 (B3) if the price is reasonable. |

QUOTE(MSI-MY @ May 12 2011, 10:45 AM) Dear BeastX, - 2 PCIE x16 slotsIf you notice, the E55 is equivalent to our GD55 version of mainboards. This MATX board is not a cost-down board with the same Military Class II components, 2 x PCI-E slots, Easy Button (on-board Power/Reset Switch) and it's using the Z68 chipset. Unlike the H67/H61, which is altogether a different chipset compared to the P67. the first PCIE x16 slot (PCI_E1) supports up to PCIE x16 speed the second PCIE x16 slot (PCI_E4) supports up to PCIE x4 speed ....and price MSI out of Malaysia market? |
