Actually I've made some experiments on how to take care of those babies. I think the temperature isn't a very big problem as long as your room temperature not more than 35 Celsius and the humidity of your room is another concern. The most harmful things for these babies are sunlight and the lights from the lamps coz the UV particle will make the painting become yellowish. Even you block your room from sunlight It'll still do the harm, what I've tried is I put 2 same figures in my room same as yours without air-cond (I'm kind of the people who will fall really sick under air-cond). 1 of them I display it and another hidden in a box with no contact from sunlight and lamp. After 2 years(actually I've forgot about the figure and just found it recently when I go korek korek those old thing). What I see is the figure that I displayed looks a bit yellowish compared with the 1 sealed in the box which looks just like new.

I have allowance in addition to my monthly pocket money from parents, totally over RM 1.3K. But that money covers everything from my figure shopping to hostel fees.

Humidity will damage the painting of the figure as well, it will make the dust stick on the surface of the figure and make them hard to clean off. Actually when cleaning the figure you can't use tissue, brushes or clothes. You can get a small vacuum cleaner for cleaning keyboards to clean them. But when the dust stick on the figure, it is impossible to clean it using that. you'll need to rub them off. at the short term you might not see any big damage. But at long term your figure will look old. About the UV, we can just reduce it to the minimum, can't prevent it. Only if you're like me, for those precious figure I'll seal them in my cabinet and I don't display them.

1 simple clue for everyone, Good Smile's figures price usually maintain a stable price or enter bargain bin except online exclusives, especially since they screwed up BRS animation over a year ago. Saber Cuirassier also showed no signs of price hike yet, and IMO the only saber which the price will go up again is once again the Distant Avalon (which i think is more valuable than Golden Caliburn). Saber Triumphant Excalibur's price is still stable also, at RM 400 range. I dont really listen to rumors, i monitor the figure market and various other forums myself to predict what will happen.

So far i only know the companies with potential price surge after release is Alter/Hobby Japan, Orchid Seed/Amakuni and Native. Alpha Max's mainstream figures, PLUM, Fap Company, FREEing, price also drop kaw kaw. Im still waiting to see how the new companies Lechery (Kaitendoh renamed) and Arcadia (Yamato renamed) will end up.

I agree with exile. Suka = beli, don't think about the resale value, cause if you really like them, why are you thinking of selling them already?

Max Factory is more of the unpredictable kind; Kureha is kinda old already, year 2008 i think. 5 years old leh, of course rare and expensive lah.
