Can someone tell me what is the cost for
- 2 feet x 4 feet window with Multi-Point (LB Aluminium frame + 8 mm thick glass)
- 2 feet x 5 feet window with Multi-Point (LB Aluminium frame + 8 mm thick glass)

LB alum section got LOW/MID/High end, different size & thickness??
and WHY MUST use LB Aluminium frame ??

Yes I agree. LB has a wide range from that of mass housing ones to premium ones. So which one u r looking at???

I thought the Multipoint already described the window type.
Actually, any brand that with multipoint would do.... not specifically limit to LB Aluminium

Hi, actually the trick is in the Aluminium extrusion. It ranges from below 1.2mm to that of bungalow standard of 1.8mm. The thickness of extrusion would determine strength of the window.

I also learnt the hard way. The prices can vary widely depending on a number of factors. You need a good contractor to explain to you on this.

Also watch out for the gasket quality. Whether your window is prone to leaking will be determined by this item.

FYI - In the end I did not choose LB but went for Elegance Windows.

check with Premier window biggrin.gif they are my previous project HIGH END alum windows contractor........of course their price also premier tongue.gif tongue.gif

Now my project use other contractor who can supply same thing but save on $$, can pm me for the contact if interest

i liked upwards solutions. but they are pretty pricey. you can however get real security frames from them (i.e. european standard not just simple multi-point-lock).
