It's impossible to identify a keeper that is certain to be our ideal no1. We can only know when he has actually played for us for a period of time. Look at VdS, I actually had my doubts when he moved from Fulham. He was 35 back then, almost past his peak. But look at him now, 40 and still doing his business well.

Neuer and Lloris imo are among the best proven young goalkeepers in Europe. Forget the world cup, if they perform well enough for their respective clubs then that's good enough for me. And whether or not they are capable of becoming our No1 it all remains to be seen. I talk like as if they signed for us
