I have made payment of USD 780.00 to a supplier for a Roland FP4 Digital Piano.

They called me and requested for the VAT & Custom's duties to be transfered to their Western Union Account. They have a very weird slang and I suspect they are Nigerians.

I insisted that I should not pay for all 5 units as I only ordered 1 unit but he said these are the rules, and is forcing me to pay all 5 unit's "VAT & Custom taxes" and that their warehouse in Malaysia will come collect the rest from me.

I checked the address of their warehouse, office and even the so called 'courier' service website and it does not turn up on Google maps.

Please blacklist them from cheating more people ! Their details are as below.

Nah, I paid for one unit, and then they said they made a mistake in sending 5 units, and it was stopped at Customs, and there is taxes of USD580 .

I told them why should i pay for all 5 when I only ordered one and he just kept saying no you must, you must ! I said ask the courier to return the items to them and refund my money.

Now they are not online, replying emails and not answering calls for my refund.

NEVER TRUST PEOPLE WHO DEAL FROM FREE EMAIL ACCOUNTS AND ASK FOR MONEY TRANSFER & WESTERN UNION !!! I WAS SUCH A DUMB FOOL !!!

Nigerians are now the best con artist.

The Jalan Lawan Padang exists, but not the 11/13 I should have looked properly .

So now you lost your money for the 1 unit of things you ordered ? The item doesnt exist at all ?

I paid all in RM 2600.00 so far. I spoke online with them just now, and said they will arrange another shipment and reminded them not to repeat this mistake again.

Just an update for you guys. We spoke to them on Wednesday, and asked for a refund or to send another one.

He said they will send 1 for us.

Yesterday (Thursday) he told us that we have to pay another USD 180.00 for the shipping insurance and taxes which is so funny because the item has not been sent out yet and how can there be taxes when it hasn't reached customs ???

He just messaged and ask to remove the bad comment about him !!! I said I will remove once I have received the item and will issue an apology.

What do you guys think ???

Dont, until dispute resolved. Lesson for those irresponsible sellers and warning to others not to repeat the similar.

Another member pm'ed me asking about this dealer, and lucky he saw this post. He almost going to pay already, am I'm happy 1 less person will get conned from them. They told the other member that we don't want to pay and have already refunded us whatever. WTF !!!???

Yeah, if it was Paypal, it wouldn't be a problem . . . but it was Western Union and we weren't aware that it does not have this buyer-seller protection scheme. We didn't do the research and this is the cost of our mistake
