Bro, can I ask, custom config of JFS just for /data and EXT4 for the other partitions fixes the GMT+0 timezone reset problem after every boot? I keep getting this issue with all partitions on JFS..

You should install the exe file, and copy the map from C:\Navi to your sgs.

I have been using Papago M6 with MFM-Papago 100415 map for 2 mths without any problem. However, i fail to use the new mfm maps, experienced force close every time i initial papago M6.

just change to recommended speedmod + jpd modem.. hopefully there is a GOOD change in batt life huhu

i remove lagfix first, then proceed installation via CWM
n then i put back the lagfix

but i read somewhere someone did install it w/o disabling lagfix

if im not mistaken its the wave interference. although no call in were there but auto sync etc still receiving waves which will cause interference when placed beside radio.

if u concern about health.. yea.. electronic waves doesnt bring any harm in very3 small quantity

they say Doc's Rom 7.6 eats battery. 7.5 was much better

no camera n physical home button too, wonder hw to boot into recovery mode   and btw, wad if developers get their hands on this

i read somewhere new superamoled will use very much less power than current one and of coz longer life time (you can google this). this alone + gingerbread experience is making me drool.  of coz here hoping samsung will stop using rfs file system forever.

Nexus 1 & Desire are the catalyst for Android. Galaxy S is the propagation that follows through. And now with all those Desire HD, Droid X, and basically everybody else jumping on the bandwagon, Android is going to enter Explosion state (or in the midst of it).

Google knows this, and that is why their Nexus 2 ought to be significantly better than N1 (Not like IP4, not much diff from 3GS).

That is why I believe the rumour that Google and Sammy working on N2 is true, coz Google knows Sammy is good on making superb hardware, but lacks on software. Their joint effort could define a new era coming for Android development.

Just my opinion though.

Hey guys, I just got hold of galaxy tab hours back. Running froyo is very smooth. Like my SGS eclaire on Voodoo. The UI looks more like ADW launcher. Camera got flash. Feels really good on my hand. Don't feel like buying one, but I don't mind owning one either, haha  .

Btw, it is rooted.  The maxis promoter says stocks already finish. Probably need to wait till next year. Don't know how true is that. Well here are the pic I took:

Wow, impressed at JPD's battery life. Battery at 100% didn't drop for 3 and a half hours idle. Had wifi on the whole night.

i heard 3d gallery much better then usual gallery..
but in order to install 3dG, i must first remove gallery right?

but how if i didnt found gallery.apk in my data/app or system/data?

1) Check from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=817703 look under alternative modems

2) Download it

3) copy the files to sdcard

4) then reboot into recovery (CWM)

5) i remove lagfix (some say u dun need to do that, but i prefer to unlagfix, afterall, it is very easy to lagfix from CWM options)

6) Once in Clockworkmod, select “install zip from sdcard”

7) Select “choose zip from sdcard” and then select the zip file. Then choose yes

8) then it will reboot, then i choose the ULF with the ext 4 again.

9) reboot the phone.

If you can see 3G on your notifiaction bar, that means u r connected to internet and some apps run on the backgroud and sucking up ur prepaid.. press power button for 2 seconds and u can see an option to disable the internet data in 'Data Network Mode'

just unplug battery should be fine but why did you end up in download mode anyway, no one accidentaly presses 3 buttons at one time
