i downloaded the firmware I9000DXJG4 from samfirmware...and all the pda,modem and csc file with md5 ext. do i need to remove this ext and leave .tar as it ext?
i tried odin3 v1 and with md5 ext, i get <ID:0/011> MD5 hash value is invalid.
tried without md5, it stuck at half way T_T..
Appreciate if you can help~


i saw this from previous thread...

DXJG4 from samsung firmwares was not a complete firmware, It had errors/corruption.
is this true?

Anyway i managed to flashed it with the help from sifu here~

1st, ur source of DXJG4 might corrupted...kindly get it from the link given on 1st page.
2nd, pit 513 recommended to flash DXJG4 with re-partition.

You guys r right! with the download mode in GS...it seems difficult to brick the phone XD

you flash with all the pda,csc and modem files? i'm not sure will this cause this problem or not.
if you using the version that download form 1st page, all you need is only the code file will do(something like CODE_I9000DXJG4.tar).
i only flash with CODE_I9000DXJG4.tar

Hey..now i started to love touchwiz than launcherpro...i felt abit laggy while arranging/deleting icon at homescreen with launcherpro. But is super smooth with touchwiz!

lol i love touchwiz ...now i only know in menu screen also can pinch out to select/edit menu page..

yeah it is personal reference , launchpro can pinch out at menu screen? launchpro menu screen not using paging right(or able to set to use paging)?
