I am downloading that one right now, same size so I assume it's the same and it also said kies backup.

Haven't been really active lately, too busy with exams.

Anyone on froyo has found that once you enter GSM mode, cannot go back to 3G mode?

I am on DXJPA

Also, I find it difficult to establish data connection.

I have switchpro installed.

Okay, it MAY be maxis doing some upgrading or something.

But I got my UMTS signal back by performing the following

Downloading samservmode

Then I did
Debug -> Network control -> Network acquisiton

I changed from UMTS -> 3G to 3G-> UMTS

Then I also changed the WCMDA band to ONLY 2100.

Then my UMTS signal came back..

Seriously? I have no idea if this is a maxis thing or it's just me.
Can someone please check as well on your phone?

---

It's the phone.
After i switch it to GSM mode, then I cannot get back to UMTS/WCDMA mode anymore.

... -.-'

Update 2:

Once I switch to GSM, I cannot get back on to 3G/UMTS

And i have to do the samserv thing again. Only this time once I select WCDMA only with 2100 signal then it forces to lock on and I get full signal at the debug menu?
Weird..
I think it's a bug because I lose all control inside the settings menu, yet I can 'debug' this from samservmode

Btw, someone please confirm with me as well if you are on DXJPA.
Thanks.
Download samservmode from market.

You have recovery 2e mode? Are you on official Froyo?

If yes, then how you do it?

I used chainfire's kernel.
2e recovery and rooted on froyo.
