Oh hi. That's an interesting SP. I had already bought DCMUGEN and does that removes my eligibility?

Lol.. I can write a review about it comparing it to the DCMUGEN but I hope i don't have to write such a bad review again.

you are, but let's give that opportunity to someone who doesn't have an SP at all.

i realise that a number of members here are EXTREMELY defensive with the SGS despite its short-comings!
the development of the android system has been tremendous over the past few years and it will take some time for it to evolve/improve but it has, i feel spurred on improvements in IOS as well. For eg, you could never listen to a mp3 or view a .avi file natively but now, Apple has allowed a few apps which can view natively. Perhaps without Android, Apple may never have allowed this before.

opinions are like asslubangs.. everybody's got one... . i'm an Apple fanboy, i love Apple products, and I love my SGS. i would recommend an iPhone over an SGS depending on the user's profile.

But all said, Samsung still needs to address the compatibility with their impressive hardware and the Android OS. Hopefully they can get it sorted out soon so we wont have every 5th person here bash the hell out of the SGS and raise the hairs of the backs of some SGS fanboys.

your mother is a woman, yes we know it, we get it. don't have to tell us that. likewise, Samsung's got issues with their software execution, yes we know it, we get it. don't have to tell us that either. sure, sometimes we whine about Samsung, like how you whine about your mother having hormones imbalance and decides to give you a grilling.

seriously, you don't have to tell us what we already know.

hey guys i've been wondering if i accidentally flashed a new fw with odin without first disabling voodoo will it cause any harm to my phone? has any1 tried this b4?
*
well, not something any1 should try. i won't wish any fellow SGS user try it.
but.. the fix..

QUOTE
If you forgot to read this giant documentation and installed another Kernel or Firmware without disabling lagfix first, well… that’s too bad, but it’s repairable by 2 options:

* Re-installing Voodoo by flashing the Kernel with Odin: Your ext4 data will be back if the previous procedure dind’t format DATA partition
* Starting into recovery and wipe data. Warning, like it says, you’ll loose your personal data. If you don’t have backup, use this option in last resort.

I am not looking for an SP to 'protect' the screen. I've had my little toy for months now, naked as a baby, with zero scratches on the screen itself - can't say the same about the body, though..

I just cannot tahan the constant wiping that I need to do, just to be able to see what is being displayed..  blink.gif

i've come across naked screens that have been scratched. yes, the screen does scratch despite what everybody says.

as for the sgp oleophobic..oil will still transfer from your face to the screen. it will still be visible. the difference is that when you wipe the screen, the oil will come off rather than smear around on a naked screen or with a normal clear SP.

personally i find the oleophobic as the best trade off..retains the screen optical quality and reduce the affect of oil.. since nothing is perfect in life.. lol.
