my gps seem to be worse than before update..now it could not even detect the position..is there any settings to change?

GPS is very good so far. Haven't tried navigation but twitter location and foursquare is a breeze.

GPS working for me. First time initialize Papago, can lock within 5 sec in my car. Navigation is ok. Not sure where the sensor aiding function is helping. Gallery seems faster than before.

Samsung tries to ape LauncherPro. At least now they are innovating now due to competition.

Nothing much changes on the inside. The telephony function now can do sms as well.

Updated to flash 10.1 but better to disable it or put on demand coz using it will be laggy at some website.

Is it really M'sia Official Release?

This morning i went to Samsung Service Centre cuz of the failure firmware upgrade.My phone stuck at upgrading process & hung 7 hours.They told,the official froyo doesn't release yet but i do the upgrade cuz available in KIES.I got confuse about that....hmmmm

KNS!! tried flashing to DXJPA but keep failing, after flash it will stuck at the Galaxy S I-9000 screen. doesnt seem to be able to reboot. im from XMJPA, tried flashing back to JM8 then tried flashing again still cant work. now im trying to flash back to XWJPA.

OK XWJPA works, bugger the new DXJPA from samfirmware can trust or not, dunno why having problems flashing that file, sigh looks like i have to continue to use XWJPA

Windows XP?I used Win7 last night?Does different windows version could make it fail to upgrade?

The new froyo is just too AWESOME!!!!

it FIXED every flaw EVERY THING ive complained about ....

1. Youtube player now works like a CHARM ..... can drag the red thingy and for some reason able to load video FASTER and even open it FASTER and respond FASTER ...

2. The GPS now Locks within 10 sec even @ in doors.... [Dont know if this is temporary or what] ...

3. Flash player is awesome!! .. i can watch youtube video @ youtube!!!

4. New music player looks nicer ... like the smaller volume toolbar and color scheme
Everything is great.... its the best experiance i have ever had with a phone 
a few minor dissapointment though
1. Navigation doesnt work for malaysia..
2. Voice Action is kinda crappy...
3. The phone still feel abit laggy...

supposed to go to galaxy 5? lol..

Silenster - Trying to flash DXJG4, got the file from samfirmware. Just downloaded it only.

the JG4 in samfirmware is broken, ive posted a working link few pages back.

After upgrading to Froyo i managed to lose all my contacts. I have them saved in Kies as a .spb file.

I can connect to Kies, use the contacts widget and instruct kies to transfer contacts to device. It says it has moved them, and when checking on Kies, the numbers seem to be on the device, but when checking on the phone, they are not there.

How do i get the info in the .spb file to appear on the phone?? Any help most appreciated.
