Wow, impressed at JPD's battery life. Battery at 100% didn't drop for 3 and a half hours idle. Had wifi on the whole night.

Ok. My batt life has been awful these 2 days. Found out that this is the problem: Android system - partial wake lock (Under "Partial Wake Usage")Definition (frm Android Developer) - Wake lock that ensures that the CPU is running. The screen might not be on.Found a possible solution here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=698659But this doesn't work for me, cause I didn't use network timeAnybody also facing this issue please share if you got a solution or possible solution. tq

QUOTE(Harddisk @ Nov 14 2010, 09:07 PM) Supercurio (Voodoo lagfix programmer) was working on the headphone jack fix earlier. It should be able to fix the incompatibility with Apple's earphones. As he tweeted that he actually bought the earphones for testing. lol BTW, how about using the original handsfree earphones that came with the phone? Just planning to upgrade the earphones.. =) Any1 using 32 ohms impedance earphone with galaxy s?? or should I buy the normal 1 16ohms or 12 ohms?? what is the different? =( This post has been edited by xedi: Nov 15 2010, 10:29 AM

Go for the usual 16 ohms. You won't remotely hear a difference. But there is a difference. Lower impedance better sound quality but more noise throughout. I think mengsuan knows a lot about this, right?

guys,
I have a silly question here. How can I manually lock the screen on this phone instead of waiting for 15 sec to let it auto-lock?

The latest update of LaucherPro is sucking battery big time. Ver 0.8.1.1 I check & monitor and found that it is using CPU power alot..
It was fine previously, only using 2% of full charge before now.
Now, I find that it is using 15% of my full charge

Im using it too.. but first time using this LauncherPro, dunno if it sucks too much battery life than previous version.
