Guys when you guys open the market do you guys get the front page?

I usually don't and get the message

"No Matching Content in Android Market"

I have to go to apps, games or downloads tab to see item, there is no home for me.

I see some people even get the price in RM.

I managed to do GPS tests.

First test on the road but the video is too big to be uploaded (what to do... I've only 0.35mbps). SGS vs Papago PND. SGS lock and accurately move on the map. I won't say a complete test coz SGS using Google Map & not a real navigational software.

Second test is using GPS Toolbox from market and compared with Papago. "Use wireless network" location function has been disabled on both phone for this trial.

SGS & Wildfire & Papago.

SGS sometimes will lose signal and I have to move near the window to get it lock again but Wildfire did not face the same issue. Both locking time to sat. is same. Sadly, I've sold off my Desire, if not the test will be better.

All devices giving different values in lat., long. and altitude. Wildfire locked to all 8 sat. but SGS only 4 of 7. Bearing reading cannot confirm as Papago does not have this info, bearing reading can only be obtained when moving.

yo, it's the same with me too. is your SGS also from Singapore? mine from singapore and i think, maybe that's the problem perhaps. i see a lot of videos where their market have those featured apps. well, its not a big deal as long as you can still download apps from the market. But i suggest you to use the AppsBrain because it have a wide variety apps rather than from the market itself.

Did you update to froyo already?

I notice that charging SGS while it is power off is very fast compare to when you on the phone and charge. Very significant difference.

It is the same for Msia set. Use Market Enabler to simulate other country then you'll see the feature apps on the front page.

Ken, can la. I do it all the time. SMSes can restore from nandroid. Nandroid is everything in your internal SDcard.

I mean from Eclair to Froyo. They say can't backup and restore system settings rite??

Btw, does apndroid works for froyo?? I wonder what went wrong hmm.gif Last nite I disable apn then it kept connecting to EDGE, so i put it there, when i woke up tis morning, Digi said I've used RM5 internet usage today.. and it's still on EDGE every second since:shakehead:
EDIT: after deleting "diginet" from apn settings then it doesn't connect to EDGE anymore.

I am using launcher pro. I still like it. ADW you can customize, many themes available in the market, if you are bored with LP. brows.gif

When you say calibrate my battery, do you mean I should wipe battery stats? If so, how would that improve power consumption rate?
