but i also heard that Samsung just send out the notice that they will not provide warranty for rooted device

Reporting back, FROYO already out officially on KIES from my network!
Just updated it
(By the way, my network is  O2 UK)

I have a few question:

1) Do i need to install Flash 10.1 separately after update to FROYO?

2) Does my previous installed in ECLAIR apps works in FROYO or I need to actually removed all of them and reinstall?

Since I had already installed Froyo, if I do restore factory setting now, is it too late?

If you had lagfix, disable first. Then the upgrade procedure should be smooth. Mudmaniac didn't have 3br but he upgraded successfully too.

As long as the download mode hasn't initiated, your phone should still be fine.

I faced DC when downloading the firmware (after 44 mins.), Reconnect and it download again from start.... another 1 hour. The file is roughly around 250MB - 300MB judging from my download data graph (can get the exact total coz I'm also surfed the net during the process).

Just do not kill the Kies connection from the phone or disconnect the cable then your're good.

The new froyo is just too AWESOME!!!!

it FIXED every flaw EVERY THING ive complained about ....

1. Youtube player now works like a CHARM ..... can drag the red thingy and for some reason able to load video FASTER and even open it FASTER and respond FASTER ...

2. The GPS now Locks within 10 sec even @ in doors.... [Dont know if this is temporary or what] ...

3. Flash player is awesome!! .. i can watch youtube video @ youtube!!!

4. New music player looks nicer ... like the smaller volume toolbar and color scheme
Everything is great.... its the best experiance i have ever had with a phone 
a few minor dissapointment though
1. Navigation doesnt work for malaysia..
2. Voice Action is kinda crappy...
3. The phone still feel abit laggy...

1. Navigation use Brut Map or Papago
2. Voice action is acceptable when I tested. No comment
3. Laggy? Want to lagfix?
