Added on November 10, 2010, 11:09 pm QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Nov 10 2010, 04:00 AM) Bro, can I ask, custom config of JFS just for /data and EXT4 for the other partitions fixes the GMT+0 timezone reset problem after every boot? I keep getting this issue with all partitions on JFS.. U can try urself in Advance mode & tell us what is the outcome Added on November 10, 2010, 11:11 pm QUOTE(ken2291 @ Nov 10 2010, 09:59 AM) LOL u can always use Adfree from market but u need to root ur phoneAdded on November 10, 2010, 11:12 pm QUOTE(chewlee @ Nov 10 2010, 10:13 AM) You should install the exe file, and copy the map from C:\Navi to your sgs. M6? So u are using the MFM unsupported "AHEM" version I have been using Papago M6 with MFM-Papago 100415 map for 2 mths without any problem. However, i fail to use the new mfm maps, experienced force close every time i initial papago M6. This post has been edited by yc1437: Nov 10 2010, 11:12 PM |

QUOTE(yc1437 @ Nov 10 2010, 11:03 PM) Good tip. Tried it with my current JPM firmware - jfs for /data, ext4 for /cache and /dbdata - same problem. Phone resets to GMT+0 and English UK locale after every boot. In fact, I tried the same on a fresh JPO firmware too with supermod kernel (a friend's SGS) - same issue. Well, screw it then. I'll stick with ext4 on all 3 partitions for now. |

about the gps thingy fix, i found something.
well not sure it helps or not, it supposed to have effect on agps, but who knows right use root explorer. go to system/etc/gps.conf long click it and open with texteditor you will see something like this. north-america.ntp.pool.org replace that line with from here: http://www.pool.ntp.org/zone/asia you can choose to use asia.ntp or just use malaysia one, they say it faster for the server to get the gps server. but i dont notice anything yet, not trying to compare though busy with other things. |
