Sent my poor N8 to Nokia Care center today to rectify crashing issue. "Small matter la this" according to the receptionist. But they still need a week to rectify. Needs a software upgrade according to her again. I wonder why Nokia did not include this upgrade in their SW update or Ovi store. Disappointing experience with the N8 so far, hopefully all will be rectified when it comes out of Nokia Care wink.gif

Returned to NCC yesterday with estimated rectification time of one week. Hopefully it comes back hassle free *fingers crossed*

Curious thing is, my cousin has a N8 which was purchased at the same store where I got mine. He purchased it a week earlier than I did and that unit has not go problems at all which leads me to believe that not all N8s have problems.

It's a pretty awesome phone, well, if it doesn't hang all the time. Which is why I really hope Nokia can solve the issues with my phone. Until they get it right, I really don't see myself recommending this phone to anyone.

And one more stupidest thing they did is that , my left bottom screw has this warranty sticker , those very easy to come out one. Once accidentally scrape it off , warranty void.

If so , i'm gonna diao that NCC again  mad.gif

Oh damn..I just realized that they marked the 'Scratch' tick box with an X even though my phone is brand new without any scratches on it >_< If anything happens I'm sure they'll just say that it was already sighted when I handed over the phone. Aih, should have noticed it earlier vmad.gif

Let's see if any similar problems when my phone is returned to me.

It's pretty frustrating that not only the new phone is full of faults, the after sales service is pretty disappointing as well.
