all the n8 dead phone experience remind me of my old symbian phone luckily u can take out the battery disconnecting it totally from the power supply work for me for several years. This flaw seems to be software and they dare to bring this nonsense baggage to the N8 make feel really angry. I believe the dead phone are not hardware related but software.

Radiance if u are from Nokia send this feedback to HQ how dare they with their incompetence. vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif

for me i think it's not...  hmm.gif

Dead N8 Issues
- The device will dead randomly during standby/idling.
- Confirmed battery still not depleted during it happen.
- Confirmed the Hard Reset won't resolve the issue.
- Observed before it dead the phone will hang and turn off itself, later can't be turn on ANYMORE.
- Phone will also dead ALTHOUGH switch to OFFLINE mode (confirm not the RF transceiver error)
- If ever the phone can be revived, all function still working (call/message/storage/bt/wifi/gps/compass)

it smooth u know and accurate. Nokia hire sucky programmer or lack of software ergonomics sensibility. It actually good news for nokia to ditch symbian foundation they were good but they are stuck in time lapse. well i like symbian though i wish these guys learn faster or hire new breed of programmer work together with these oldschool programmer sad.gif

one thing i impress with nokia the engineers were able to cramp lotsa stuff notworthy.gif

can' wait for firmware update

Oh damn..I just realized that they marked the 'Scratch' tick box with an X even though my phone is brand new without any scratches on it >_< If anything happens I'm sure they'll just say that it was already sighted when I handed over the phone. Aih, should have noticed it earlier  vmad.gif

Let's see if any similar problems when my phone is returned to me.

It's pretty frustrating that not only the new phone is full of faults, the after sales service is pretty disappointing as well.

mine lucky no problem until now. Ziitron set dunno whether that make any different, their own quality control perhaps?
