Hi guys,

Is there a way to disable the N8 from receiving MMS? Just got a MMS from MAXIS and it connected to the data line to download the message and it took about 100k which will cost me about RM1 just to view a message that I did not want to or asked for in the first place.

Edit: Found some settings in Messaging. Hope it will be able to deflect unwanted messages.
*
MMS download is free except if its downloading something else thats not from MMS

MENU > MESSAGING > OPTION > SETTINGS > MULTIMEDIA MSG > CHANGE ACCESS POINT IN USE TO NONE

In future any MMS comes u wont able to receive any MMS

Where the tournament? I still yet buy one. Again today I went to other shopping mall to get one, but all stores are out of stock. But one shop still have one because they sell at RM1790.

Most seller told me that N8 have so many problem, better buy C7 they said. One seller told me they don't want to restock N8 because the risk is to high. The funny thing is, one lady told me Samsung Wave camera is much better than N8.
*
hahaha cute seller. They will find ways to seller their stock off. If u do not know anything u believe and regret

having to be able to plug out your battery is good actually for spare battery and also for restarting if your device hang gei laugh.gif
*
if the system can be reset easily internal is better less mechanism for removable battery aka better space to add more hardware

yeap. I don't see how people are going to cope with the fixed focus lens but I'm sure some people can. Like my dad never touch his camera before. He uses Call, Calendar, Messages, Email and very little web-browsing.
*
actually auto focus only useful for close up photography Simply shoot not needed. For you to record small object then auto focus in video recording is useful too.

N900 auto-focus? hmph, may I ask why during recording on N900, it will lag for awhile then skip a few frames means in my real video also become jumpy. like jump from 1s to 3s?
*
you try with your Nokia N900 go record your X6 screen u see can record or not.
I dunno my recording very smooth

Sample recorded by Nokia N900

You should ask iphone users when they start using the phone whether they have this issue or not

Anyway, fyi, if you have FCAM, you have Touch Focus already. But would be good if these are integrated into the default camera software as well biggrin.gif
*
Sifu Fcam not really touch focus. Those phone with touch focus when touch the screen it will focus and snap photo. On Fcam u need touch where to focus then only click the camera button to take sifu. Fcam more like select focus
