the first encounter dead N8 i'm facing is when the time i driving back from ipoh to penang using ovi maps gps and the N8 dead suddenly lah.... that time i not even touch the N8 (really touch lah) more then 24 hours since getting it from the ranger event... 

yup... and it seem further down the road, the usb method also not a solid solution and been removed from FP.... the dead N8 issue highly suspected is due to hw defect related and it's advise to bring to NCC once you discover it.... 

so n8 is da right choice?

next upgrade can use IR camera mode, can see naked

yeah but like that easy to get clothes ... Plus take photo sure add a bit more meat one.... Not like me chubby so sad lo... Tall thin elegant... Like bamboo in the wind

how frequent an iphone need restart and how frequent an N8 need restart?

But my n73 will never hang however i didn't restart it. but lag only.I send bluetooth file to pc , listen music, answer call in same time will not hang.

anyone tried bluetooth transfer from N8 to N8? try to see how fast is the bluetooth 3.0? 

im facing hard to browse internet with wifi connection,
it's always appear 'invalid server name'. anybody can help me?

Hey Everyone,   
With a lot of searching around and browsing through the user manuals of older Nokia models, I finally figured out how to fix my issue of "Invalid Server Name". Hope this helps. So here goes,   

1. Jump to Settings>Connectivity>Settings>Destinations>Internet(or whatever is your default destination). Then add your wifi router as an access point through Options>New Access Point.   

2. Click on the new access point you just created. Ensure that your 'WLAN Security mode' is set up as per your router settings. Mine's WEP.   

3. Now go to WLAN Security Settings at the bottom. Confirm that the 'WLAN key in use' number matches the key number you've configured in your router. And of course, confirm the 'authentication type'. All of this has to match your router.   

4. Then jump into the 'WEP key settings', confirm the 'WEP encryption' with your router. 64bit is 8 character and 128bit is 13. Make sure you are checking this for the 'WEP key in use' that you set up in the previous screen and not just any tab.   

5. Now hit 'Back' until you reach the screen that shows up in step 2. Click on Options>Advanced Settings.   

6. Choose IPv4/IPv6 (whichever you've set up in your PC). Open the same properties screen in your PC which shows the IP/Subnet/Gateway/DNS entries. Make sure you match up - Subnet, Gateway, 2xDNS entries between your PC and your phone. Choose an IP address that is not in use. I mean, if your PC has IP address123.123.123.123, your phone should have 123.123.123.xxx where xxx is between 0 and 255, but not 123.   

That's as much as I did to make it work. Additionally, if you have an issue of your phone always connecting to your GPRS instead of WLAN, make sure you set your WLAN to have the 1st priority in the Internet destinations(refer step 1 above to get there).
