guys

i bought the n8 the day it came out kat malaysia
now got problems, although not a so much
i havent read this thread in all of its bulk but i do found out something about 1st or 2nd or 3rd batches
anyway, i can only assume mine is 1st batch

here're some of the problems:

i) GPS is always waiting
up to this day, i could never get the GPS to lock, instead i've been using the map as my guide only (thankfully im good with maps)
never get to hear the surfer dude's voice because the gps could never lock
i subscribed to Digi's 3g btw, and speed is really really fast (download 5mb stuff is a few sec affair) so i dont expect internet speed has anything to do with GPS couldnt lock
but the thing gauged the distance between my current location and another location correctly (.e.g my house to klcc is 2.4km which is true and my house to ttdi is 13km...and when i went to damansara, it could detect my current location)

ii) sometimes the phone will not turn its screen horizontally or vertically (depending which way the screen faces the first time) even when the sensors are on
and sometimes the auto turn sensor option is turned to OFF...automatically

iii) browser sometimes displayed these 2 weird messages

    a) Memory full. Close some applications and try again (it only happens during browsing and it happens at random)
    b) Unable to perform operation.
the only solution i have is to restart the phone

now, i've googled enough to know that at times nokia cant solve this while some suggested for me to wait for software update
i can still be patient with problem no. ii) but problems no. (i) and (iii) are too much for me to handle.

do i send my phone to nokia service centre? and is it true that nokia service centre for kl is only available at berjaya times square?
