another way to get it is to get the armored version of the 1/72s. those come with the action base. Or you can ask around for those who have the armored version and willing to let go of the action base.

very nice build!
*
Good idea... but might as well bought one myself laugh.gif

About the built, still haven't applied the decal yet. Not very good with water decal. Last gunpla I've assembled was like 5 years ago, that time still use sticker. Just ordered mr mark setter and softer, for the decals. Painting/lining done using Gundam markers.

Actually, its looks really different, before and after painting.

bro...your mascross is 1/72?? if yes, the leg joinment part r tight?? becareful it very fragile.
*
Yes. Its 1/72, and the leg joint are actually quite tight. I just leave it in fighter mode since the 'tornado pack' doesn't look quite nice in battroid and gerwalk mode.

Regarding this; has anyone found one yet? Is it still available? This stand is almost impossible to find, even if can find it online, it's super expensive.
Can someone let me know if you did find one lying around, thanks.

Anyway, I just recently being pulled into the Macross world, and I find it dangerously addictive  thumbup.gif
*
Yeah, I went online site, most already sold out/discontinued... cry.gif

Now I'm using Gundam MG action base as subtitute..

Well if I can't find it online, then must use the most traditional way to look for it; go shop and ask one by one  cry.gif
not confident can find it here in JB, but across the causeway, there might be a chance  nod.gif
*
JB still ok, but BP, not a single hobby shop here... sad.gif

After weeks of searching the sms action base with no result, finally settled with gundam MG action base. Later will color/mod ita bit to look more like macross stand (sms logo, black/yellow stripe, etc).

vf-27 Brera.. awesome... pity me don't have the skill for building model kits..
*
Me no skill also, just snap fit. A bit coloring using gundam marker. Put wet decal also not very tidy.

p/s: another problem is that I lack patience. doh.gif

Assembling process, finished.... Really tired. The mechanism is much better than vf25 messiah. Transformation much smoother and solid.Attached Image Attached Image Attached Image

Really frustrated with applying decal. At last, decided to just use gundam marker and just paint it as my heart desire.

Here is the final result. Quite hard to take a good picture as the color misty of the time come out pink...

The new YF-29 will have a new head unlike it's Durandal counterpart. It's quite similar to Vf-19s with it's single 'antenna'....

more here

I already have Yamato's YF-19, but never had the chance to grab Bandai's YF-29 b4 it's price sky-rocketed sad.gif

Chogokin is too expensive for me...

same here, that's why i only picked those that i like very very much, then KIV for the most reasonable price b4 getting them.
Bandai's 1/72 Frontier kits I'd always preferred Brera's VF-27, but when I went to get it, no stock, so i got the VF-25S messiah instead.....

recently I just missed a great chance of getting one off eBay, but it was grabbed b4 i could make up my mind (selling for S$55)  cry.gif

Hope they make a kit version, so I can complete my collection. Already got vf-25 and vf-27.
