I spotted a YAMATO 1/48 VF-1S sporting a new packaging design (the plane mode featured on the front cover). Saw it on HLJ.

Any improvements to this version?

Local speciality shops would have but not complete. Or else can get from Hobbylink Japan or other online stores.

YOu can start by PO the upcoming 1/60 new VF-1S Focker. Price is on high side but its one of the best toy you gonna own and transform.

I saw toyshop at Amcorp sellling VF-1S Hikaru 1/48 scale normal version at Rm 4XX. But box images looked dull. I suspect "not original" item. What you guys think? Are there KO Macross items in the market?

I still have a MISB Ivanov and Nora SV by YAMATO. Heard many stories abt cracked shoulder and that it would break if transformed. So far any actual experience by members here?

Thanks. I have been keeping them for too long. I will try transforming Nora first before proceed with Ivanov.

There are re-release of new mechs with many good points but they are also at high price. I cant collect them all for now.

Great job completed here. Did you paint your model kit? I havent bought any modelkit cuz all the while only collect the ready assembled and painted Valks.
