I get it now the VF31 blue one is pilot by that blue color hair boy but still in mystery

no, Macross always had that idol plot in it, just that to follow current trend of Love Live & Idolmaster, they have an idol group instead

news articles about Delta wrote that it's an all male team(SV-262) vs all female team(VF-31)

but then again this "Tochiro" in Macross World Forum said that VF31 was not pilot by girls but was males pilot, these girls only seem to be support/sing, anyway I think there is male and female pilot the VF31 in the trailer

is weird Bandai display 1st ver at the event must be for TV series, they do display movie ver 2 but they no display 1st ver of VF25 well is ugly.

I know Macross had that idol thing, but I didn't expect them to look like they come out of Im@s/Love Live also.
Makes me kinda wish Macross took the Gundam route with AC/UC, because it seems the days of seeing a Macross series with a more realistic world is long gone.
Or maybe I'm just getting old
