as far as i remember.. yf name is for prototype? and then vf is the mass produce model. from what i understand when watching macross plus then macross 7 tongue.gif

yes is it very difficult to get it since many ppl want and stock are limited, even there are some left might be ebay high price. still Bandai haven't reissue yet

Among all the VF-25 I have researched, I like the VF-25S the best. Too bad it is the most hard to get one.

is the yamato/chogokin series needs to be painted?

Any other series does not require painting?

the bandai chogokin comes fully painted with all decals applied... i guess that's part of the reason for the price and low stock cause the man hour involve in producing them is quite daunting.
yamato (aka arcadia now) on the other hand comes painted but there's stickers coming together with it, so you'll need to spend minor hours to apply the stickers to your liking.

other series that i have, toynami is similar to yamato, pre-painted with stickers.

that's all i know now, maybe other sifu can shed more lights for you smile.gif smile.gif

actually the naming of Y(prototyped) is copied from US airforce ( basically the whole fighter thing is heaviliy referenced laugh.gif)

so u can google yf-22, yf-23 ( the real prototype plane) to yf-17, yf-16.

damn it, the price for Arcadia YF-19 is freaking expensive around 34440 yen with tax , no tax would be 32800 yen. not sure want it or not
