first time deal with HLJ.com and having the worst experience i've ever had, last week i ordered a nendo set from them, it takes them for almost a week to process my order, then i send them an email few days ago then they only immediately process it

now still waiting for my nendo set to arrive

erm...actually vf-1a super n strike part hikaru got problem with the hinge n will crack....u can asking dust about his vf-1a crack after 1st time transforming it n also even my fren very softly trasfominng also crack.....i think same goes to vf-is hikaru? maybe yes maybe not

most of the early vf-1 got shoulder problem ... that's what i read on net ... they called it the version 2 releases ... sometimes even just take out from the box already got the crack ... it's the pin they say. .

and the pin problem only got fixed wit the PLUS version ... iskk.. where can find such version anymore...

the bane of yamato with their earlier QCs.
and yet the problematic batch is still instock.
difficult for collectors to know unless they do in depth digging of infos.

then they came out with new packaging vf-1s ... and same with the bundle super strike parts

the reissue of the bundle set still maintain the same box art ...


then later only they released these new with new box art .. called PLUS

with fixed problem!

I've got the PLUS version which comes with the penlight. Very satisfied with it. Joints were solid the last time I checked. Got it almost a year ago from one of the many Macross sales from HLJ.

VF-1S's shoulders already got crack, VF-1A I just leave in battroid mode

but still playable, only time could tell, maybe I should grab tv version later

I guess I won't be letting it go so soon. Really waited he11 of a long time for the plus version to go on sale. Its a super cool figure. Solid transformation and detail makes it perfect for fiddling and display

Kept looking around and was gonna settle for the initial release since the plus version is not a really common item on the shelves. But the 'broken out of the box' shoulders really put me off and decided to hold back until the PLUS version came around.

Oh and I remember Time Machine having a few VF-1S PLUS versions when I was hunting for one. But they only had Roy's version. That was almost a year ago though
