no laa.. it's not rare, but low production since it's not macross ghost accurate ... just a recolored version ...

only rare if ppl looking for it ... but since nobody really bothers about it ... they just stop rereleasing it

Hi all..

newbie here.. interested with these Macross models.. got a few questions:
a) the models comes in DIY assembly kits right? like those gunplas?
b) if they are, is there any sort of grading (in terms of details/articulation) like those gunplas?
c) the other day I saw around BTS, most of the Macross models are priced above RM200.. is that normal?

comments are appreciated notworthy.gif

model kit tak syok... time consume .. more fragile .. lots of part swappings ..

a) just snap fit .. if you have the tools and skills, can airbrush to make it look better
b) if you mean by HG, MG, PG grading.. no, there isnt any .. but for frontier series, they have from basic jet model, then the parts model kit, and with armor model kit ..
c) depends .. the high end macross; like vf-25 armored messiah model kit can be as low rm260 to rm300++

the model kits quite hassle since there are lots of small parts ... and transforming them is a pain too... you have to do lots of part swapping .. with kibbles ... it's a messy job ...

yeah... macross model kit especially the frontier series contains alot of parts... big to small ...and the assembling can bit abit frustrating at some point where you need like 1 person to hold the part while you adjusting it to fit it in ... laugh.gif
