It's okay if you disable internet connection somehow, if your SC2 client has your SEA account saved at the login settings, it will auto login to SEA servers, therefore causing the crash since the new update is not yet released officially.
To solve the issue I first disabled my internet, forcing the client to prompt me for offline gameplay so I can get a chance to click on the region button.
Then I enabled my North America account at blizzard.net, restarted SC2 and pointed it to NA region. At least I can play MP now.
Oh and I just started playing btw. SC2 was a major factor to make me decide to completely overhaul my PC. Intel i5 760, 2 GB DDR3 RAM, GTS450 on 1680X1050 20 inch monitor is just pure awesomeness for SC2.
Add me up! slickz|205.
P.S I still get the 'rush' each time I play MP and I tend to feel really panic because it always feel like I'm not doing enough clicking LOL! Any way to overcome this?
