i dont know if you have been following the news or not , here's a summary

- GT5 release date originally plan on 2/11
- Missed the production date by 3 days.. possibly caused to upgrade to firmware upgrade - sony announced the game is delayed
- pictures of GT5 disc surfaced
- At SEMA, Yamauchi-san said that GT5 went GOLD
- More pics of GT5 disc (page one of this thread)
- videos of gameplay on youtube
- sony take down the videos
- Yamauchi tweeted that the announcement is real soon
- Sony announced the game will be out on 24th
- on Polyphony's site - Tracks and cars are revealed

So you still think that the game will be delayed?  doh.gif
*
yeah i haven't been following. cool2.gif

anyway, there's so many copies of gt5 lying around right now,no news yet whether region lock or not?
or the server's not up yet?

and uh,most of you getting your copy from amazon, local sellers?
anyone considering the bundles sony has for gt5? biggrin.gif

hey,the GT5 will use the eye for head-tracking right?
if it can be used for head-tracking,isn't that already kinda like kinect?i mean, without any controller, and if the eye could track our body hand movement, that will be awesome drool.gif
or is there something that i missed out?

Just for head-tracking. nothing else.
*
i know, but since they could use the eye for head-tracking already,
that means it opens out many other possibilities in the future for the eye to work something like kinect?no?

it can only do so much.
Kinect was made with full (body) 3D interaction in mind.
the PS EYE...not so much.

some of the Kinect launch titles are not as in depth as we'd like to see, but the coming Kinect games will never ever be able to be replicated by the PS EYE.

best example: Steel Battalion.

i dont know all the details, but last i heard it's made with the kinect motion controller 100% in mind.
this kind of gameplay experience will NEVER be done on the PS EYE..it's too high tech for the EYE.

so far the most amazing game utilising the EYE that i've seen is Kung Fu LIVE!
but it's just a side scroller,anyway..at the end of the day you just lift your legs and hands to the side..no depth of any sort.

cool, but nothing mindblowing when you actually look at it.
*
lol it's gonna be like minority report already huh?
anyway , since there's something like kungfu live and head-tracking already, how hard could it be tracking the hand?or not? hmm.gif

The only way to experience this (for those who can't afford 3D TV), wait till Sony Wings KLCC do a GT5 promotion..surely they promote the 3D.

i think,3d is just a fad and it will fade sooner or later.
besides, wearing a glasses while playing game somemore 3d, TERRIBLE

DEAL! rclxms.gif
bila nak cod?
what makes you think that?
have you tried it?
or is it because you DONT have a 3DTV that you think it will fade..? icon_idea.gif
i take it you dont watch 3D movies in the cinema, then? tongue.gif
very tricky situation.
on one hand no need for glasses.
on the other, limited viewing angle..

personally i'd go with the glasses nod.gif

.........until they can widen the viewing angle, that is tongue.gif
*
LOL yeah maybe it's because i don't have 3dtv :b
lol trust me,3d glasses is annoying,i watched twice 3d movies, avatar(shit 3d movie, cheated my money) and the recently megamind,
i got headache when i watched 3d Avatar but did better on Megamind, but nothing 3D that really wows me and the glasses is annoying as hell,i mean,i have to hold it so that it dont drop down!
besides the only time i felt the 3d is really well done was when i went overseas theme park and those 3d are truly 3D and not just gimmicks nowadays thrown in into any movies/games.

im fine with 3D material..
watched Avatar,Owls of Gahoole (two amazing looking movies in 3D),toy story 3(crap 3D) etc..

the glasses stayed where they were supposed to with no problem tongue.gif

btw,3DTV glasses are not the same as those you use in cineplexes.
you're the first person i've ever seen that says Avatar has crap 3D.
every other living person i've met/heard from all agree it looks amazing
*
LOL im talking about AVATAR THE LEGEND OF AANG
LOLOLOL,should have write that just now

3dtv glasses different?are you talking about those thin cheap plastic ones with red and green one? the cineplexes here don't use that though

sry for off-topic lol
