Am wondering if

1.GT5 support clutch pedals? Can we do heel toe in this game, or is it automatic throttled like the new Nissan 370Z? If manual heel toe is required, will the car jerk if you downshift without heel toe?

2.If the clutch is included, say if we use the handbrake on rear wheel drive cars without stepping the clutch will it stall the car?

3.Will they lock the cars to the original transmission options or will they be selectable for all cars?

4. want to know how accurate the transmission in this game will be, because some cars like GT-R only comes in dual clutch, while many comes in DSG & Manual (Golf/Evo X), whiles others come with Automatic & Manual (370Z/Skyline V36), while a few only comes with Automatics (Mark X).

5.Will the type of gear affect car performance? For example same car models, Manual cars are suppose to be faster than Automatics with higher top speed, while DSG are faster then Manual & Automatics.

Since it's always trying to be a real simulator i want to know how realistic this game will be.

Would be dissapointing if the gears are generic and doesn't follow actual cars, since most cars comes with automatic/dsg variant anyway, and that Wheel drivers won't have 7th-8th gear to switch to unless they use the side paddles, which would end up like DSG. This kinda affect the realism since on newer generation cars it's not really possible to swap gears from DSG/Auto only cars to manual. Unlike older cars. It took them many many years to develop and i was hoping they would do all they can.

Another question is, for cars with DSG or Automatic, will we be able to manual switch the gear during a race if we select DSG/Auto, since even real automatic cars are capable of changing gear manually on the move & DSG can switch between auto/manual?

1. Yes its in the game, heck even GT5P supports clutch. Yes, can heel and toe, but the game will auto blip the throttle for you - this is based on my experience on GT5 P -dont know if its the same in the final game.

3. selectable on all cars to facilitate peeps who wants to play it on AT.

4. I think the gearing model is generic - dont know if somebody will do a test on it.

If the games comes with loads of DLC, like new tracks & cars/special cars, then it'd be better to get R3 Asia since you can purchase the DLC easier.

R1 you may need to buy lots of credits, but in the end R1 DLC might be cheaper than R3 who knows? The Americans always gets things cheaper.
