Looking for 2nd hand psp .urgent.

guys, i have a bricked psp 1000(only green led on but no display on screen). im wondering if i can unbricked it without pandora battery like this video .

i didnt try yet as the one in the video seems not bricked. he just redo all the steps.i have pm all the sellers who provide unbrick service/selling pandora battery. none reply. some reply but still no deal. i wonder why.

EDITED: after doing some research. I now not sure whether its bricked or hardware problem(also can be paperweight). I turned it on, the green led stays with no screen. I can turned it off by hold the power on button. No sound no video, nothing. Hold R while power on, nothing happen,same like turn it without hold the R button. If i put it to AC charger without battery, n power it on, theres green led. When put in battery after that, green led changes to orange(charging).

OK. I'm a PSP gamer but I'm a complete noob to all these firmware thingy. I've read the first page and I still don und something. Sorry if i offended sifu2 wif my noob questions

Erm I bought my PSP about 1.5 years ago, and I asked the lowyat guy to "hack" the PSP for me. Does it means installing cfw = hack psp? Can I do it by myself if I bought a new one?
And also, I've checked the firmware of my PSP, it's 6.35 PRO-B (nt sure if this refers to the "firmware" thing). So how can I check my original ofw? I'm asking this coz I wanted to update my firmware and I read this guy posted:



I'm not sure if the ofw will affect anything if I update. I wanna update my firmware coz I can't play some games (like Little Big Planet) and I read somewhere tat updating the firmware will solve the screen-stuck problem.

Hi guys,

Im looking to get a PSP mainly for travelling usage (especially long travel hours such as flight) and most probably not in to multiplayer.
And also would apply 'Ahem' software in it for games =X

Here are my choices,

1) Brand New PSP E1000 - 100chf (RM332)
2) 2nd hand great condition PSP 3004 <included GOW, MGS Peacewalker, FF Tactics, Tekken and GT Collector Edition and Charger> - 70chf (RM232)

And im wondering which devices provide more battery life? or is it the same?

Installing CFW is quite easy actually, and now even nearly risk-free.
Q: Does it means installing cfw = hack psp?
A: Yes

Q: Can I do it by myself if I bought a new one?
A: Yes

Q: So how can I check my original ofw?
A: System Settings > System Information, shown as System Software (Example: System Software Version 6.60 means you have ofw 6.60)

That quote is outdated. I bought my PSP come with only OFW.
After some research, done the CFW installation within just few minutes.

It's quite recommend to upgrade to 6.60 to ensure compatibility for most of the game.
CFW for 6.60 is quite stable too.

First of all, you do know the difference between E1000 and 300x right?
E1000 is all same to 3000x except:
(1) No WI-FI (yep, no internet connection, no lan play, only single player)
(2) Mono speaker only (1-3000x using Stereo speaker)
(3) No microphone
(4) No-video out
(5) Design is difference

Other than these, E100x and 300x is same (screen, battery, etc).
So basically E100x is more like a budget version.

For me, I would go for 300x.
(1) No removed feature
(2) Most used PSP model, which also means, most community support (on CFW too )
