well you risk the warranty and some TV may have different frequency on channel your TV may not receive local channel + I doubt there is warranty... also the risk of getting taxed...

hmm
1. i dont use local frequency , got ASTRO lol
2. if use PRIVATE shipping like UPS , Dont pass malaysia custom , so WONT GET TAX
the only thing is warranty i worry
but since , if i Trust the Good brand of the TV , i shoud believe on the company as well
IF unlucky there's problem , have to fix it myself
ps : the TV price is 1/2 and 1/3 OF Malaysia price u know ??
damn cheap !!! can use the $$ to repair IF GOT PROBLEM

What makes you think that using those UPS/DHL/FEDEX can bypass customs?? rclxub.gif

also, the risk of transporting such a fragile panel across the Atlantic would be very very high, and I believe you did not see how those courier employees handles their packages....

Astro is 50Hz, most us tvs do not support 50Hz. Local sammy, panny or other companies will not even repair stuff that they not sell. 110V vs 240V is a concern, u would need a proper transformer. If ur luck is bad item will be sent for JBE/SIRIM approval and item gets stuck there for ages and sometimes not approved. If taxed it is normally 26.5%. Weigh the pros and cons and decide. Believe it or not sets do develop problems.
