I notice that certain channels like HBO HD and AXN HD have very loud LFE levels - to the extent that any soft and continuous LFE sources in those channels would be amplified by my subwoofer into an irritating humming sound in certain scenes. I do not encounter this problem with DVDs or BDs. The only way to solve this when watching Astro HD is to lower the LFE volume by 10dB.

Anyone here experience the same thing?

Not sure this is discussed before, when we change channel fr SD to HD
SD - sound can be heard tru TV speakers AND HTS speakers

-Everytime this happen i need to quickly mute the TV
-But it is a good thing if i off my HTS say watching just TV3 or any SD channel late nite, i can hear the sound from TV.

HD - no sound via TV speakers but HTS speakers only.

-Everytime this happen i need to quickly ON the HTS, if it is not ON.
-Sometimes we dont need 5.1ch to watch HD channel late at nite.

I cant seems to control the above situations.

What i want is:-

If i off my HTS i want the sound from both SD and HD channels to come out via the TV speaker.

And if i ON the HTS i do not want any sound from the TV without me having to MUTE the TV be it SD or HD channels.
WITHOUT MUTING, JUST TURN YOUR TV VOL. TO MINIMUM
Alternatively, you may set 'TV VOLUME' to 'OFF' in the HDMI Options of your receiver or HTS if it's available.

All Connection are HDMI only.

Any solution?

Watched 3 Idiots on Fiesta HD today and the PQ was impressive. Very entertaining story as well (thanks to the subtitles).

BTW, I notice some slight stuttering on the "David Foster & Friends". It's also noticeable when I bypass the AV receiver and connect HDMI directly from Astro Beyond to the TV. Anyone sees the same thing?

TV: Samsung UA40C5000
AVReceiver: Onkyo 608

Other things that need to improve for Byond is when we access the channel guide. Do you notice that when we want to find the channel guide let's say on HBO (channel 411), at that time, I was on channel 104 (Astro Ria).., I need to browse all of channels available from 104 to 411 to check the program guide for HBO. It's really irritating sometimes. Like old decoder.., even Astro MAX itself, I can access the channel guide easily. I just press the 411 on remote, and preview screen still stay at 104, only program guide changed. I really hope that Astro can do something on this....
Actually quite a number of people are not aware that we can scroll the channels in TV guide, page by page using the ch +/- buttons, instead of one by one using the normal navigation arrows. I use this together with the green button to browse the HD channels and it's pretty fast.
