installer came to install new decoder yesterday. Normal answer " activation between 2 days -7 days.

Today called astro customer service..they ask my contact and will call me up if anything goes right.

I don't no how long I have to wait.. J


ust 7 hours new decoder installed , another installer called ask to make an appointment for astro beyond decoder...blurr..double request ..

thanks to lapaq for helping me on activation process

i received few calls for astro rep .

They trying hard to solve my problem

System already activated by this evening by my screen still blank..I can change channel number but nothing on screen. But when I removed the smart card , i can hear the sound from the channel stated

Someone here reported that byond decoder consume 18W in standby mode. If you watching astro average 5 hrs/day, 19 hrs will be in standby mode. So, do your math.

19 hrs x 30 days x 18W = 10.26 kWh per month.
If your TNB monthly bill < RM43.60 (200kWh), it will cost you RM2.24. But if your RM43.60<bill<RM110.40, it will cost you RM3.43
