I have one of the dish installed and using Openbox S9 receiver. So, can get some of those FTA HD channel. Most of the time, the dish alligned to AsiaSat3S as my mum was the one who mostly watch those Chinese programmes

My byond is starting to get jam randomly now. Screen turn black and no response from decoder when pressing the remote. It all started during the heavy rain this evening, so i powered off the decoder and the plugs when it was recording. Not quite sure though the exact cause though I suspect have something to do with this. Any comments?

power cycle(off then on again) should reset your pvr back to working order again, if not call astro for a replacement

wow! i wish i could have one of those. haha. sure got a lot of HD channels. when is Astro gonna adds up more HD channels?

The situation is very crictical.................. we can see that they hv only room for 2 HD channels, one takes turn for 3D EPL while the other for local use which now is for Raja lawak. They leased out most of thier capacity so much so nothing much left for own use!!! They are now busy with IPTV and busy calling customers to change thier decorders to Beyond saying they are phasing out old decorders, so when this move is completed they wl hv space to add a few more HD! For those with old decorders,Just wait for thier call,most of my friends hv got the calls, HD services is optional but they wld change the decorder FOC for you.!

Just imagine, they have 2.93 million subscribers. If they could convert a minimum 10% of current subscriber to pay an additional RM20. You do the calculations. Can't really blame them, 'coz it's all business strategies. I think they will add more HD channels once they reach certain level of 'profit'. But, please hurry up!! haha..

im using astro byond for 6month now..
no problem before except bad signal when raining..
but today,if i press the OK button to swith to other channel or to view the detail,example im watching 831
but its show TV1...anyone experience this problem before?

I just bought a LED 32 samsung ... and planning to migrate to Byond..
any suggestion on cables and connections to enjoy HD.

i have been recording lot of series using ext hdd and suddenly today when i on the astro, it required me to format the disk... i cannot copy those recorded programs, and other solution?

go back to astro to ask for help, alternative is to get someone knowledgeable, such as computer hacker LOL

I think you tried to connect your HDD to a PC before and then connect it back to Byond so sometime it will corrupt your HDD?

You don't need to buy anything just call Astro CS and they will do the rest and enjoy HD.

better ask astro cs
