Is it permanent 3D channel? 

i agree with you.. astro's censorship is really more lax then usual.. it was a few weeks ago that i watched a natgeo documentary on natives in the amazon jungle and there were some boobs showing in plain sight from the native women folk.. wished they were perkier.. 

I think, I mean I think all 3D ready tv brands will be able to display the 3D properly la. From past experience, Astro uses side-by-side 3D format which I believe is supported by all 3D TVs. Just select the 3D format on your TV then put on those shades and let's see Man U lose to Spurs in style ... in 3D ... muahahaha.....

The Astro 3D channel is a direct feed from Sky Sports in the UK..using their graphics and scoreboard..not sure if they had the half time show or not..for football fans, its fantastic to have the Sky feed, with the graphics, statistics, but most importantly the commentary audio feed.. the only downside is u have 2 screens..bummer..

Overall good job astro..

The 3D effect is great..although I'm a big fan of 3D and sports. I never consider the 2 of them to be a match made in heaven

What I can say is the animation effects of the...the swoosh thingy when there are replays going on...is superb

I observed that watching Astro SD programmes on LED TV, its quality is worse off than watching from a CRT TV.

Formula One Management makes it official: 2011 season will be the first in HD

After many years of waiting we'll finally get to experience Formula 1 racing the way we should, in high definition. Sky Deutschland and the BBC have already confirmed they will carry the new HD feed, and formula One Management has confirmed it will be available to all host broadcasters and will include all track sessions in 42 Mb/s MPEG-2 form. The widescreen PAL feed we've been watching has been good enough to fool a few into believing what they saw on Speed HD and others was true HD, but we can't wait to see the difference when the season kicks off.

with the decoder

if i just left it standby
the next morning

it say something like D or 0
need to turn off plug and on it again .then the decoder shows time again
