Dynasty Warriors 7 (真・三國無双6 Shin Sangoku Musō Shikkuzu?, known in Japan as Shin Sangoku Musou 6) is a hack and slash video game and the seventh official installment of the Dynasty Warriors series. It is currently being developed by Omega Force and published by Koei. The game has been confirmed to be PS3 exclusive in Japan. It is based on the famous Chinese novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong. The game was unveiled at the 2010 Tokyo Game Show. On October 26, it was revealed at the Koei Press Conference to have improved graphics and gameplay, with the support of stereoscopic 3D features. Tecmo Koei has announced a Europe Release in March 2011 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

GAMEPLAY

Dynasty Warriors 7 will be the first game in the series to extend past the Battle of Wuzhang Plains.

New faction,the Jin Kingdom will be added, bringing the total number of major factions to four.

The moveset system is back to the good old Charge-based system (DW5 and before)

Characters now equip two weapons at once. Both of them can be changed

There will be about 360 different varieties of weapons

Some weapons will have gender limitations (eg. high probability that Qiao's folding fans will be exclusive to females)

Called the Variable Attack system (aka. Real Time Weapon Change), player can switch between the two weapons anytime. The weapons can even be switched during a combo with a weapon without cutting the combo itself. To switch weapons, press R1

Some characters will have special expertise in certain weapon types. When such weapons are equipped, they will be able to unleash EX attacks
(Speculation: For new characters, probably it's the 'main weapons' listed above, while for returning characters it's their 'default old weapons')

MUSOU ATTACK UPGRADES

Musou bar is now stackable to 2 bars, allowing you to launch Musou attack twice consecutively

Aerial Musou attacks seem to have also been added

It is said there will be different kinds of Musou attacks. The first one is weapon-based and the second one will be unique to character (perhaps related to main weapon / weapon type expertise?)

OTHER KNOWN INFORMATION

The game supports stereoscopic 3D mode, though this is optional and can be turned off

Rumor: will have support for the Playstation Move (Sony's motion controller). This is also optional, but not yet known how it will be implemented.

Some characters will have different facial features depending on the storyline progress, like two-eyed Xiahou Dun or non-masked Sima Shi

Character portraits in battle messages have emotion changes just like other recent Warriors games (except SW3)

woot..cant wait for it~!!

I like the sound of chronicle mode.. but its going to be 1 vs 1000 again for sure.. just have to see how they make it interesting this time.

if there is no online co-op play. then good luck to koei. since js version all over the world now....

they should put 'online co-op play'!! or maybe online versus play LOL!! plz koei.. make it happen!!

it is still char kuay teow- except being over fried.

for hardcore 3kingdoms and potong rumput fans like me, koei fry N times also i will support, but it depends on wat feauture lo, if it come out like last time without on-line co-op.....sorry liao.....js version FTW!!!!

first day buy for me....i hope there's still offline two players play...cause i love playing it wif my gf...make the whole game more exciting and easier as well...
