Any interest for the WD TV Live Hub?

user posted image

Looks interesting
  • Built in 1TB HDD
  • Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Pandora, Live365, Mediafly, AccuWeather
  • Stream to any TV or computer on your network.
  • Programmable remote.
  • Hdmi 1.4
I suppose "Stream to any TV" means there's a corresponding WDTV Live player at the other end.

Viewnet lists it for rm699

well no netflix and blockbuster. youtube etc are "available"

I'm rather intrigued by the "Stream to other devices" feature - does this move towards the Kaleidescape type of device? at such a price?

Anyone knows where I can easily find the digital cable? Planning to connect the WD TV Live straight to my home theater system via the digital cable.

viewnet should have a regular TOSlink cable which will work just fine. If you are adventurous, you can get a glass TOSlink from ebay biggrin.gif
