Haven't seen today's episode except the part where Toridevendor came to life and wreck havoc all around... ~ the movement very Dragranzer like but the CG are much more vigorous compare to the Ryuki era. And the effect's quality is quite consistent as well, no sign of 'weakening' yet. We are seeing more cinematic style of action and effect in a tv series for kids.

Yonemura did good with this episode though, the intense atmosphere and the fast pace suspense are there just like what we used to get in Kabuto ~ until some higher-ups pulled the clueless Inoue into the show and thus messing up everything even though Kabuto's setting is formulated around Inoue's style (yes, I'll keep whining over this again and again).

Kougami is somewhat old school in mentality, real camera is all about da 'Show-Biz'!! ~ fit his profile for yelling "Subrarashi" or "Happy Birthday" everytime or for doing exaggerating impression.

Hina-chan's character is pretty wooden at the moment anyway... ~ not much development.

Each Greed is said to have 9 Core Medals.

A 'Possible Example' is this - take Uva as a sample.
Head - 3 (Kuwagata, Kamakiri, Batta).
Upper Body - 3 (Kuwagata, Kamakiri, Batta).
Lower Body - 3 (Kuwagata, Kamakiri, Batta).

I think it is a misconception to say that a Greed 'survive'. The Core Medals are the Greeds, even if they are destroy, they would just shattered into Core Medals and Cell Medals. Thus they can reform with enough Core Medals and Cell Medals. And that's why they must be sealed, unless one can find a way to destroy the Core Medals.

Looks at how Ankh only reformed himself from one or two Core Medals plus a dozen Cell Medals.

When a Greed looses too much Core Medals, they become weak, and thus unable to hold on to their whole form as easily as when they have more Core Medals. The Cell Medals are what keeping them intact by providing the energy, but since they diminish easily (As Gotou said, 'one time use only' ), so the Greeds must make more Cell Medals.

Ankh is currently that one Taka Core Medal. The other one is the one Eiji picked up and later given by Ankh to use in the Tatoba combo.

The colour tones are probably just for artistic results, nothing to it, but you can also say that there are some sort of colour ranking involve here - the Head is the 'command' element, Upper Body is the 'strength' element while the Lower Body is the single 'skill' element. Overall, the later two is somewhat similar as part of the fighting prowess.
