in another forum, someone said that smile detection is software-related, I've no idea on what smile detection is except that it's available on some mid-range cameras~

could be optic illusion since u mentioned casing colours~ are u using a screen protector?~ the other possibility is the fading of LCD backlit life, although the chance is very very very low for this to happen~

hey, that's a nice feature!~ wildfire in other regions may have smile detection app as stock app~

which reminds me on removing stock apps; is it totally removing .apk files in the ROM or just uninstallation?~ after removal, will there be any problem in regards to factory reset?~

cyanogen i think~ u can do it yourself for free, just follow instructions~ u have to learn if u want to keep up to date because new revisions come every now and then~ I'd rather wait for official release as well because all custom ROMs are buggy at the moment~

if i'm not mistaken, h.263 is easier to decode as compared to mpeg4 and both can be in .avi or .mkv extentions when audio files are included~ the decoder and processing power will determine which is better in my opinion~ quicktime's .mov is the worst~

none that i know of because when u record video with a professional capturing device, it prompts the bitrate, framerate, etc.

strange problem, try to scan for virus or just do a factory reset (format)~

sliding takes extra time due to desktop and laptop users used to typing~ same goes for QWERTY instead of compact and other keyboard formats~

i'm thinking similarly~ Froyo will most probably come a few days before Christmas~

in my opinion, now the only good thing is "app permission" from rooting~ like titanium backup~
