Hey guys ^^ getting my wildfire next week, (hopefully). I'm new to smart phones. There's quite a lot of things I don't really understand. This rooting thing sounds a little complicated but also sounds sweet in some ways. Is it advisable to do so?

Guys, I found out this er, WF got this weather forcast thing. Does it automaticly updates? With what? o.O My credit, wifi, or just somehow free?

Sorry i got tons noob questions. =_='' no good with smart phones.
How does someone connects to digi, 0.facebook? It keep shows fail to connect in my phone. And I cant change my er, new mobile setting to HTC WF via digi *128# cause the keypad only allows type numbers, not alphabets.

I tried dl-ed angry birds, and angry birds season via market and applanet, but it does not work. When finish dl-ed, the screen just show blank blue color with the music running. When I tried randomly press the screen, sometimes it leads it another 'page' which shows another blank screen with another color. Does anybody know how to solve this problem? I dint try other games yet, but probably same results. Many thanks for your help. >.<

nope, it does not work. the app of angry birds still just a blank screen, with some darker bluish bubbles on top, like a line. nothing else.

I tried this GOTO lockscreen. So it changes my er, original '5 page' own settings at main menu into a '3 page'? And how do I lock it o.O, it appears if I press the original lock button and unlock again, other than that, it seems randomly appear if I press my home button. So somehow my phone turns weird. Maybe my settings wrong?

thanks, er it works after i enable the home button. but do i have to shortcut a GOTO n press it when i want to sceen lock?

Oh i see, so it just basically got a different lock page. I thought it somehow enables another way to lock my phone so I dont have to use the power button lol. Thanks bro.

Lol. Strange. I fixed the goto problem, now my angry birds seems faulthy. Can't shoot any birds. Like touch screen problem, it automaticly let's go and the bird end up right in front of me. Some bug maybe?

Hmm, whats the differents between the new froyo thing and rooting? After root can get the froyo as well, no?
By the way, my original SD card is only 2gb, I plan to change into 16gb or 32gb. Do you guys get any lag from using too large memory card? I can just drag my old stuff into new memory card right? o.O

Guys, do you lag when you try 16/32GB SD card? I plan to get a card since the ori only 2GB. And may I know how much is the price range for 16/32GB card?

Gave up on angry birds. Its fun, but drives me crazy with its lagness. Realizing only now (yes now, I mean yesterday). That no wonder I cant store my app in SD card. Which need froyo. Gee...still learning this smart phone thing.

But still, I'm quite sastify with an RM1200 phone. At least I can enjoy some e-books. I do like them, but wished they got a lot more choices. Anyone found any nice e-books? I mean, some app that actually have tons of e-books in them? Those plainly in the market and applanet kinda..not enough for my appetite (since nearly 70% of them I already finish before hand or totally not intrested).

Well yeah lol. I try not to think bout that since I already bought. Can do nothing so just be satisfy with what I have.
