QUOTE(anexus @ Nov 30 2010, 12:32 AM) Hey guys, I'm a new Wildfire (White) user and I must say that I'm definitely impressed by this phone. Go to setting, application, development, enable debugging. That's all it takes. Try it out.Only problem I'm having is with HTC Sync, it's not detecting my phone and vice versa. Any one experiencing/ed the same problem? |

Its been 14hours since I disconnected charger this morning, with the setcpu on my rooted white color wildfire, battery still have 30% to go while typing this. I started to fall in love again with my Wildfire. Don't think of hunting for desire anymore.

QUOTE(clon12 @ Dec 3 2010, 10:15 PM) Is the ehem site. No worry, this is open to all, not like iPhone, cannot discuss jailbreak or any relating issue.Note, Applanet always down, don't rely on it too much. Also some of the apps may not be working which will face Force Close issue, or not usable at all. |

I prefer ES Task Manager.
Day by day, what ever task or apps the no needed, you can set to "kill it only". Then add widget to main screen. To perform faster, just click it. It will kill those un-wanted task. |

QUOTE(skunk87 @ Dec 8 2010, 06:04 AM) im using black wf for 2 months now and still totally a beginner..only install few application from android market n nothing more..honestly i didnt feel any fun using it..just use as a simple phone..sorry to all wf user..btw,can someone explain to me why need to root the phone?what the benefit from it?can i get the 'fun'?i do love my phone though..please i really need some help in using the phone 100%.. I've been using my Wildfire for almost 3 months now. It's definately not fun to play game with it. For me, my phone is for communication. I use for phone call, sms, gmail, whatsapp, pingchat & all sort of communication. As for gaming, forget it la. It's small screen definately won't be fun to play with. As for rooting, I rooted my wildfire for almost 1 month already. I have no regret rooting it & void my warranty (since it's going to cost alot when I decided to sell). The advantage for me to root : 1) Overclock CPU - set the CPU the way you want it. For me, when using stock rom, I only manage to use max - 14 hours of normal use. Now I can use same-14 hours, but heavy usage of surf & chat/call in a day with faster speed & smoother use. 2) Wifi hotspot is available with rooted ROM - mine is CyanogenMod. Whenever I outstation, I no longer need to reload my iPad's 3G prepaid internet. I just switch on my Wildfire Hotspot Wifi sharing. |

Lesson learned. Next time, I'll buy a phone that is with existing ROM or features that I need. DO NOT RELY ON RUMOURS.
I lose my 22 months worth of warranty, eventhough I am happy that I've rooted my Wildfire. |

QUOTE(kennethbta @ Dec 9 2010, 12:07 PM) i don even wanna bother about official froyo update since rooting and flashing custom roms has many benefits and u can flash back to original roms also when there is a real official updates which basically won't void your warranty if it's not related with your hardware damage Can teach me how to flash back to original rom?I can't find my RUU from ship-rom. Can I still able to flash back to ori with other RUU rom? Well, I have rooted my wildfire with Cyanogen. But I prefer HTC sense UI. |
