CUN! heard also that froyo is around the corner...this phone is already good with eclair..unlike galaxy s , need to modify first 

yeh that is why you always modify them, put this and that..this rom and that..then only can fly hahaha
but nexus s are coming, im sure samsung will optimize galaxy s software. anyway most of you guys
getting AP or Ori? i find that using ori...most of the app in the market isnt available..unlike the Singapore set..

yep i guess thats how it is. that is why the google phone was with htc in the first place...the UI and software in it makes the phone lags, but then Nexus S will be with samsung, and boy...google wouldnt let messes up...the fastest android phone is still Htc desire i heard.. ( when it comes in stock froyo firmware)

I js got my red Wildfire    from Maxis yesterday, but i was unable to get Screen Suite or Lock 2.0 from the market . Some other lock apps doesn't really work on my Wildfire.

Any suggestion on wat i can do?

Nope yesterday when i gone to Maxis centre in pavilion, they dun have it.. they dun even have Wildfire in stock and the service is crappy...
Finally i gone to Maxis centre @ Lowyatt, at least their service better and i got my Wildfire there...

i want froyo..

But sometimes I do kill some apps which I used then I know I won't use it again for like a few hours. Like games, market o.o and music player

actually i has... facebook,calender,bookmarks...etc
just get 1more beautiful widget for the clock and ur phone will be perfect

can update to froyo now?

I've been using my Wildfire for almost 3 months now.
It's definately not fun to play game with it.
For me, my phone is for communication.
I use for phone call, sms, gmail, whatsapp, pingchat & all sort of communication.
As for gaming, forget it la. It's small screen definately won't be fun to play with.

As for rooting, I rooted my wildfire for almost 1 month already.
I have no regret rooting it & void my warranty (since it's going to cost alot when I decided to sell).
The advantage for me to root :
1) Overclock CPU - set the CPU the way you want it. For me, when using stock rom, I only manage to use max - 14 hours of normal use. Now I can use same-14 hours,but heavy usage of surf & chat/call in a day with faster speed & smoother use.
2) Wifi hotspot is available with rooted ROM - mine is CyanogenMod. Whenever I outstation, I no longer need to reload my iPad's 3G prepaid internet. I just switch on my Wildfire Hotspot Wifi sharing.

you guys talking about rooting which makes me feel like going to root mine. I find it is laggy sometimes. Anyway, I wanna upgrade to a internet plan but I don't use it often because most of the places I am going has a wifi connection. But it just sometimes, I go some places without internet. And I wanna unleash my wildfire to its full features, so feel like going for a internet plan. I saw a package rm18 per month with 100MB from Maxis. So the weather widgets, the twitter updates, the facebook updates, the ebuddy messeger and some sync from google, are they using a lot of data ? One month can reach 100MB ?

i didnt root my phone,
and i am still using 2.1,
mean i cant do it,
unless i dl the apps via comp and copy to sd card?
or it is still install in my phone memory even i copy the file to sd card?
