For me, I don't need and don't want to think too much, no need to talk about the different models as in DDM, DCF, the very old Munsen methodology, etc. Just use the Book Value.

Yes, I believed different counters carry different ways to judge and decide on the Fair Value.

Then again, I recalled reading somewhere : even this Fair Value itself has volatility too, ie at different times, the Fair Value is different, being influenced by fundamental factors, eg political climate and present Gov't.

THis makes it even more complicated.

I believed longterm holdings can succeed for stocks that do not move their Fair Values.

For others, it's not worth to hold long term.

Judging the Fair Value is hard enough, now this fair Value itself is a moving target.
