just dropping by to say thanks to all who has contributed to this thread. bcoz of this thread i found the guitar store in hartamas.

i dunno jack shit about instruments... never have and never will...not really bothered...but my GF is in a band and she plays the guitar and sings....

story is, my gf's bday was last week...and she wanted an electric guitar + amp so she doesnt have to use the guitars at jamming studios etc.. and so she can play at home...previously also tried going to the shop in MV...she liked the amp but not the guitar...felt weird it seems.

then went thru the info posted on first page, also some comments about the stores etc, and decided to drop by the guitar store..

staff (a young chinese guy) was very friendly, knows what hes talking about. and also very helpful...especially with my very low budget of RM700.

in the end, walked out with a guitar + amp (dunno brand and model), a soft bag & a guitar strap (house brand), 3 picks and a cable. all for RM750.

n yes, my GF is VERY happy with her bday gift..its been almost a week and she still cant stop talking about her bday gifts

so coming from a guy who dunno and dun wanna know jack about all this...id strongly recommend the guitar store in hartamas.
